Terms of Service

Mobile Ki Market is a marketplace for phones and accessories in Pakistan. Most of the time our job is to introduce a buyer and a seller — after that, the deal is theirs. Live Booli is the exception, and it is set out below: there the phone is ours to begin with, so the responsibility is ours.

Your account

Buying needs no account. Open a listing, press WhatsApp, and you are talking to the seller — we do not ask you to sign in first, and we do not keep a record of what the two of you say to each other.

You need an account to sell, and to save a phone or leave a review. Signing in is with Google; there is no password here to lose. Give a real phone number you control — we check it before you can publish, and anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

Selling here

Describe the phone as it actually is, and use your own photos of that phone. You may not list:

• a stolen or lost phone;
• a copy or replica sold as genuine;
• a non-PTA phone without saying so — selling non-PTA is perfectly legal, hiding it is not, because an unregistered phone can lose cellular service under the rules in force, and the buyer finds out too late. We do not quote a number of days here: the PTA sets that and has changed it before. Check the PTA DIRBS site for what applies today;
• a phone that is not yours to sell, including one still on instalments.

We remove listings that break these rules, and the phone’s IMEI stays in our records.

Deals made on WhatsApp

When you contact a seller and deal directly, you are dealing with them, not with us. We introduced you; we did not see the phone, hold it, or take any money. Meet in a safe place, check the phone and its IMEI before paying, and keep proof of what you agreed. Complaints help us decide who stays on the marketplace, but we cannot recover your money.

Live Booli

Every phone in a Live Booli belongs to Mobile Ki Market. A bid is a commitment to buy at that price — bid only if you mean it. We may cancel an auction, and we will contact every bidder if we do.

Sell For Me

You hand us the phone, we list and sell it, and we pay you your share. The terms of each one are agreed with you before you hand anything over.

Paid placement

You can pay to have a listing shown at the top of search or on the homepage, for a fixed number of days. It is arranged with us directly — no payment is taken on this website. Paid placement buys position and nothing else: it is not a recommendation from us, and it is labelled on the page so buyers can see it.

When we suspend an account

We can suspend an account, and remove its listings, for:

• fraud or dishonesty — taking money and not delivering, or lying about what is being sold;
• repeatedly posting fake listings — invented prices, other people’s photos, phones that do not exist;
• abusing or harassing other people on the marketplace.

A suspended account cannot publish. If you think it was a mistake, message us — a person reads it.

Your photos and words

What you upload stays yours. By listing it, you allow us to show it on the site and in listing links shared elsewhere, for as long as the listing exists.

Changes

We will update this page when the way we work changes, and the date at the top will say when. Carrying on using the site means the new version applies.
