Safe Deal
Your money stays with us until you have the phone and are happy with it
Buying a used phone from a stranger is a leap of faith. Safe Deal (escrow) removes it: you pay mobilekimarket.com, not the seller. The seller posts the phone to us, we check it and write down exactly what we found, and you read that report before anything is posted to you. Say yes and the phone comes to you; check it in your own hands; only then is the seller paid.

If you are selling
- 1List your phone as normal, and tell us on WhatsApp that you want Safe Deal.
- 2A buyer commits and pays us. Only then do you send the phone to us — you pay that courier.
- 3We check it the day it arrives, write the report, and send it to the buyer. When they say yes, we post the phone to them.
- 4The buyer receives it, checks it, and says it is right. You are paid that day, less 1% and the Rs. 1,000 fee.
If you are buying
- 1Choose Buy with Escrow on the phone you want and send us the payment. It stays with us — the seller does not get it yet.
- 2The seller posts the phone to us. We check it and write a report.
- 3You read the report. Yes: we post the phone to you (you pay that courier). No: your money comes back.
- 4Check it for 3 days. Happy: keep it, and we pay the seller. Not happy: send it back and get your money.
Why it is safe for both sides
Nobody pays a stranger. The buyer's money is with us, not with the seller. The seller's phone is with us, not with the buyer. A real person at the shop opened the box, checked the phone and put their name to a report — and both sides can read it. The seller is paid the day the buyer says the phone is right.
The rules, written down before anything goes wrong
- If you say nothing for 3 days after delivery, the sale is complete and the seller is paid. Silence cannot leave a seller waiting forever.
- A return goes straight back to the seller, not through us, and the buyer pays that courier. Nothing travels twice for no reason.
- The 1% is only charged when a sale completes. On a return there is no sale, so there is no commission.
- The Rs. 1,000 is not refunded either way. The phone was inspected and it was posted — that work happened whatever was decided afterwards.
- If a phone does not match its listing we stop it here. The buyer is refunded in full and the phone goes back to the seller cash-on-delivery, so the seller pays that courier on arrival and we are not out of pocket for someone else's mistake.
- A first phone that fails inspection is a warning. After a second one the account can no longer sell here. We do not call anyone names — we publish the count, and we can show the reports behind it.
