Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what a marketplace needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Your phone number, because it is how you sign in and how buyers reach you.
• A recovery email, if you give one. It is optional, it is never shown publicly, and it exists only so you can get back into your account.
• Your city and a chosen username — buyers need to know roughly where a phone is.
• Your listings: what you wrote, your photos, the price, and the IMEI if you chose to give one. IMEI is optional.
• Reviews you write or receive, and the rating calculated from them.

Who can see your phone number

Not the public, and not search engines. A seller’s number is shown only to people who are signed in, and every time it is revealed we record that it happened. That log exists so that if someone is collecting numbers, we can see it and stop them.

If you sign in with your phone rather than an email, our system creates an internal addressending @phone.mobilekimarket.com from your number. It is a technical identifier, it is never displayed anywhere, and no mail is ever sent to it.

What is public

Your listings, your username, your city, your rating and your reviews. On the IMEI, only the last four digits are ever shown — the full number is used for our stolen-phone and duplicate-listing checks and is not published.

Payments

No payment is taken on this website. We never see or store a card number, a bank account or a wallet PIN, because none of it ever passes through here.

Cookies

Three are ours and all three are necessary: one keeps you signed in, one remembers whether you chose English or Urdu, and one remembers the city you picked so the site shows you phones near you.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits, and has done since 4 September 2026. It tells us which pages are opened and roughly where in the country from, and nothing that identifies you by name. We do not use it for advertising, and there are no advertising cookies on this site. You can switch Analytics off with Google’s opt-out add-on; the site works exactly the same without it.

Where it is kept

On Supabase, in their Mumbai data centre, and served through Vercel. Both are used by a very large number of businesses and handle security at a level we could not match ourselves.

Removing your data

Message us on WhatsApp or email mobilekimarket007@gmail.com and we will delete your account and your listings. There is no delete button on the site yet, so this is genuinely the way to do it — a real person handles it.

Two things we keep afterwards: completed Safe Deal records, because they are the account of money and goods that changed hands, and the IMEI history of phones that were listed, which is what lets a future buyer check whether a handset was ever reported stolen. Neither carries your name or number once the account is gone.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top will say when.
