How buying and selling works on Mobile Ki Market.
Buying
- Browse phones and narrow them down with Filters — brand, city, condition, PTA status.
- Every listing states whether the phone is PTA approved or not.
- Check the phone's history free with the IMEI check before you go and see it.
- Press WhatsApp on the listing and message the seller. No account needed.
Selling
- List your phone: photos, IMEI, price, city, and whether it is PTA approved.
- You can list accessories the same way.
- Buyers reach you on WhatsApp. You deal with them directly.
Paying
Mobile Ki Market does not hold anyone's money. For Mobile Ki Market's own phones: a token in advance, then the parcel, and the rest cash on delivery. For every other listing you settle directly with the seller — meet, check the phone, then pay.

What does PTA approved mean on a listing?
It means the handset's IMEI is registered with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, so it works normally on Pakistani networks. Every listing on Mobile Ki Market says which it is, because it changes what the phone is worth.
What does non-PTA or JV mean, and should I buy one?
It means the IMEI is not registered. The phone may stop working on Pakistani networks, and registering it later costs money — which is why non-PTA handsets sell for less. It can be a fair deal if you know that going in, and the listing tells you before you message anyone.
Do I need an account to contact a seller?
No. Press WhatsApp on any listing and you are talking to the seller. An account is only needed to sell something yourself.
Does Mobile Ki Market hold my money?
No, and it is worth saying plainly. Payment happens directly between you and the seller. Meet in person, check the phone, confirm the IMEI and the PTA status, and pay only when you are satisfied. Mobile Ki Market cannot reverse a payment it never held.
How do I check a phone's IMEI before I buy it?
Dial *#06# on the handset to see its IMEI, then put that number into the free IMEI check on this site. It tells you whether the same IMEI has been listed here before or reported.
What do I need to list a phone?
A Google sign-in and a WhatsApp number, which is how buyers reach you. Then photos, the model, storage, condition, city, price, and whether it is PTA approved. Listing is free.
Can someone check a phone for me before I buy it?
In Kasur, yes. Bring the handset to the shop and it is checked properly and written up. Other cities get this when there is a shop in them.
